Kannapolis man charged in 2012 armed robbery

SALISBURY — A 29-year-old Kannapolis man was arrested at his home Wednesday afternoon after authorities said he robbed a Salisbury gas station in 2012.
Bryon Anthony Anderson, of Running Brook Drive, was charged with robbing Murphy’s Express on Freeland Drive on Oct. 26.
Investigators said Anderson took $171 and a $3.50 beer during the robbery, according to arrest reports.
Anderson was charged with two counts of robbery with a firearm or other dangerous weapon and was placed in Rowan County jail under a $25,000 bond.
Kannapolis Police assisted Salisbury officers in the arrest.
