Tower of Power, NAACP hosting cookout and voter drive Saturday
Tower of Power Church and the Salisbury-Rowan NAACP will hold their annual cookout and voter-registration drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church, 601 E. Cemetery St.
In addition to the food, there will be vendors, door prizes, praise dancing, Gospel music by Brother Cliff Roseboro and the Heirs of Salvation and Teresa Moore Mitchell. The event is open to the public.
