Someone sets fire to dumpster at Sonoco Recycling

Salisbury Police are trying to determine who set a fire that caused $35,000 in damage at a Salisbury recycling center early this morning.
Someone started a fire at Sonoco Recycling located at 300 E. Henderson St., which was discovered at 1:39 a.m., authorities said.
The fire was set in a dumpster and spread to a bundle of cardboard, said Salisbury Police Capt. Shelia Lingle. Investigators found a gas can near the trash bin.
