Ashley Michelle Harrison and Brian Raymond Grohman, were united in marriage on Aug. 31, 2013, at New Hope Baptist Church in Salisbury.
The Rev. Darrell Worley officiated the 11 a.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception in the fellowship hall.
The bride was escorted by her father, Robert “Bobby” Harrison. Attending as her maid of honor was her niece, Lyric Knox of Mocksville. Bridesmaids were sister of the bride, Shayla Leazer of Mocksville, niece of the bride, Chyna Knox of Mocksville and niece of the groom, Marissa Higgins of Salisbury. Flower girl was cousin of the groom, Jadyn Lewis of Salisbury.
Best man was uncle of the groom, Greg Ziolko of Hazleton, Pa. Groomsmen were nephew of the bride, Zion Knox of Mocksville, brother-in-law of the groom, Randy Higgins of Salisbury and nephew of the groom, Ryan Higgins of Concord.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Sherry Harrison of Woodleaf and the granddaughter of the late Robert and Jeanette Harrison of Salisbury, Nancy Brooks of Reidsville and the late Raymond Brooks and Ann McGee. A 2007 graduate of East Rowan High School, Ashley attended Rowan-Cabarrus Community College.
The groom is the son of Ray and Donna Grohman of Rockwell, and the grandson of the late Steven and Evelyn Lupcho of Nuremberg, Pa. and the late Marth Hunsinger of White Haven, Pa.
A 2010 graduate of East Rowan High School, Brian earned an Associate in Applied Science in Criminial Justice Technology from Rowan-Cabarrus Community College in 2013.
The couple honeymooned in North Myrtle Beach, S.C.
