CONCORD — Two Concord men face first-degree murder charges in connection with the shooting death Sunday of 15-year-old Mark Gevon Bostic.
Marlon Tyrese Banner, 25, and Corey Levi Banner, 18, were arrested Thursday night at their home at 1000 Boulder Drive SW.
Police were alerted shortly before 10 p.m. Sunday when Bostic showed up at CMC-NorthEast Medical Center with a gunshot wound. He had been taken to the hospital in a private automobile, and he died at the hospital.
The Banners are charged with one count each of first-degree murder and discharging a weapon into a moving vehicle. They were taken to Cabarrus County jail.
