The Arc of Rowan is planning a seminar, “Guardianship 101,” on Thursday, Nov. 7, at the Easter Seals Office at 620 W. Innes St., 7-8:30 p.m.
This seminar will present information from a range of perspectives, including Clerk of Courts Jeff Barger.
The information presented at this seminar is for any family affected by developmental disabilities. Those attending will learn: Reasons for considering legal guardianship; terminology and definitions involving guardianship; an overview of the step-by-step process; necessary documentation to apply for guardianship; alternatives to guardianship.
