John William Shell and Sue Heilig Shell of China Grove celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Jan. 12, 2014, at a reception with friends and family at First United Methodist Church, China Grove.
The Shells were united in marriage Jan. 12, 1964, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Salisbury by the Rev. Earl McCombs.
The couple have two sons, Darrell Shell and wife Christy and Kenneth Shell and wife Wendy, all from China Grove. Their grandchildren are Lauren, Sarah, Harrison, Anna and Ashley.
