Hilbert J. Boger and Martha Nail Boger of Rockwell celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Jan. 17, 2014. A surprise dinner party with family was given Jan. 18, 2014, in China Grove to honor the couple.
The Bogers were united in marriage Jan 17, 1954, at Coburn Memorial United Methodist Church in Salisbury by Rev. L.B. Hayes. Hilbert retired from Carter Industries in Salisbury, and Martha retired from Rockwell Farms.
Their children are Randy and Karen Boger of Rockwell, Scott and Teresa Boger of Virginia and Debbie and Mark Hartley of Salisbury. They have four grandchildren.
