At the 1A/2A West region final meet, Rodenhuis won the 500 freestyle race in 4:57.26 and was third in the 200 free. Rodenhuis is part of 11 swimmers from Salisbury that will swim in the state championship meet Thursday in Cary.
In the Central Carolina Conference championship, Rodenhuis won the 200 freestyle and the 100 butterfly. Rodenhuis was a state finalist in two events last year.
