A man walked away with a bloody nose after he flirted with a woman at a local hotel. The man, 56, told Salisbury Police he’d been speaking with “an attractive dancer” at the Economy Inn and eventually loaned her $80 to buy baby products.
The man said when he confronted the woman about the money she owed him, the two argued. She became upset and got her husband. The husband threatened the man, telling him if he spoke to his wife again, he’d kill him. The husband punched the man in the nose. The incident occurred Sunday around noon at the Bendix Drive hotel.
The couple, who authorities said were believed to have been staying at the hotel since December, left in a green Oldsmobile Aurora. No arrests have been made at this time.
Rowan EMS arrived at the scene, but the man refused to go to the hospital. He was treated at the scene.
