Hunter Alexander Morris, majoring in criminal justice, of Mooresville was named to The Citadel’s deans list for the fall semester.
Dean’s list recognition is given to those students registered for 12 or more semester hours whose grade point ratio is 3.2 or higher with no grade below a C for the previous semester’s work.
The following local students were named to the fall 2013 dean’s list at Wake Forest University. Students who achieve a 3.4 and no grade below a C were named to the list.
Dale Davis of Granite Quarry, Cyrus Rattler of Kannapolis, MaryAlice Stephens of Mooresville, Devereaux Swaim of Salisbury and Caitlin Suire from Woodleaf.
Lauren Cornellier of Kannapolis has been named to the dean’s list at Simpson University for the fall 2013 semester. Cornellier’s major is communications. To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must have a semester grade-point average of 3.50 or higher.
Clemson president’s list
Rachel Jones of Salisbury, whose major is health science, has been named to the president’s list at Clemson University for the fall 2013 semester. To be named to the president’s list, a student must achieve a 4.0 (all As) grade-point average.
Clemson dean’s list
The following local residents have been named to the dean’s list at Clemson University for the fall 2013 semester:
Morgan Tadlock of China Grove, whose major is marketing; Kristen Carpenter of Mooresville, whose major is environmental engineering; Elise Griffin of Mooresville, whose major is agricultural education; Robert Hall of Mooresville, whose major is bioengineering and Benton Kribbs of Salisbury, whose major is general engineering.
To be named to the dean’s list, a student must achieve a grade-point average between 3.50 and 3.99 on a 4.0 scale.
Elon University has announced its president’s and dean’s lists for fall semester 2013.
The president’s list is composed of students with no grade below an A-minus in a minimum of 12 semester hours. The dean’s list is composed of students with no grade below a B-minus and a grade point average of at least 3.50 in a minimum of 12 semester hours.
