Hinkle Family will visit Mt. Hope, nursing homes

The Hinkle Family of Decatur, Texas, will minister in music on Sunday, at 6 p.m. at Mt. Hope Church, located at 7008 Old Concord Road. A love offering will be received.
Since January 2013, the Hinkle Family has ministered to 35,808 people, held over 129 gospel meetings and traveled 7,400 miles.
While in Salisbury, the Hinkles will be singing at local retirement centers on Monday and Tuesday. The public is welcome to come hear the group.

SPENCER — Dicey McCullough, a local children’s author and Salisbury Post contributor, will be the guest speaker for WMU Focus Sunday this Sunday at 11 a.m. at Oakdale Baptist Church, 200 Charles St.

On Sunday night at 6, the movie “As I Stand” will be shown in the sanctuary. The movie is about two Christian young men who each suffer a great loss. The South Rowan High School Varsity Chorus will perform at Concordia Lutheran Church at the 11 a.m. worship on Sunday. This will be the only service this day.
The chorus will also perform in March at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
