Bill and Joy Evans Earnhardt of Salisbury celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Feb. 22, 2014. They were married Feb. 22, 1964, at Southside Baptist Church in Salisbury by Pastor Byrd.
Bill has been the owner and operator of Union Furniture Refinishing for 46 years, where he still works. Joy retired from the N.C. Dept. of Transportation after 30 years of service.
The Earnhardts have two children, Dwayne Earnhardt of Rockwell and Lisa Earnhardt Trexler (husband Ty) of Richfield. Their two grandchildren are Heather and Victoria Trexler.
The couple’s celebration will include some traveling.
