• Hot dog sale 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursday, March 6, at Rodgers Park Reformed Church, 704 East 22nd St., Kannapolis, 704-932-8301. Proceeds will be used for local and world missions and special church projects.
• The Black History Celebraton at Rose Of Sharon Holiness, 255 Camp Road, will be held Saturday, March 8 at 2 p.m. with speaker Brother Randy Leggette of Charlotte. This event was originally scheduled for Feb. 15 but was postponed due to snow.
