The N.C. Department of Transportation will temporarily close the exit ramp from I-85 South to N.C. 73 (Exit 55) in Concord from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 8, weather permitting.
During the closure, crews will continue concrete paving operations associated with the $125.2 million I-85 widening project. Signed detours will be posted for motorists.
NCDOT reminds motorists to watch signs for construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
