Local teens face additional charges

Additional charges have been brought against two teens, who have been accused of a string of home robberies throughout the county since early January.
Douglas Martin Patrick, 17, of Granite Quarry and Gage Allen Woodward, 18, of Salisbury were charged with additional two charges of felony breaking and entering and felony larceny after breaking and entering at a home in China Grove and another in Salisbury.
According to police reports, the pair took $1,000 worth of items from a residence on the 2000-block of Daugherty Rd. in China Grove, including a Play Station, MacBook, lock box and DVD player on Feb. 15.
They also stole roughly $800 worth of from a residence on the 1000 block of Cornerstone Ln. in Salisbury on Jan. 29, including a 32-inch TV and an Xbox 360.
Woodward was also charged with felony possession of stolen goods in an additional incident. He was found with a Marine dress sword that was taken from a home on the 100-block of Epperson Rd. in Salisbury, worth $400.
Rowan authorities say the pair are responsible for break-ins that occurred in the Granite Quarry, Salisbury, Rockwell, Gold Hill, China Grove and Kannapolis areas.
