Salisbury Police officers were called to a construction site located behind Katana restaurant after someone burglarized the site, located at 200 Castleberry Drive.
A construction worker reported that on two separate occasions, the same black F-150 was seen at the site with someone loading construction equipment onto it that included scaffolding and cast iron pipes. The employee thought the driver was a plumber, but realized the person was not part of the work crew.
The incident was reported on Thursday, but reports show the first theft occurred sometime between 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday. A report said the thieves returned to the site on Wednesday around 8 p.m. In each theft, employees estimated the value of the items stolen to be around $800.

• Auto Magic Car Wash, 721 W. Jake Alexander Blvd., reported a vandalism occurred sometime between 1 p.m. Wednesday and 11:30 a.m. Thursday at 11;30.
• Superior Oil Co., 316 Roy St., reported on Thursday someone damaged their windows.
• Someone forced their way into the Harold B. Jarrett American Legion building, 1022 Lincolnton Road, sometime between March 15 and Thursday.
• A 20-year-old woman went the police department, where she reported a larceny from her vehicle had just occurred in the 800 block of South Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue.
• Police responded a home in the 700 block of East Liberty Street regarding a domestic violence situation. When officers arrived, they discovered someone had damaged an interior wall of the home.
• A 52-year-old woman reported on Thursday a break-in that occurred in the 1400 block of Filbert Street.
• Someone hit a 58-year-old woman’s vehicle and continued driving. She told police it occurred Thursday just before 6 p.m. in the 700 block of South Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue.
• A thief tried to break into a home in the 600 block of Carolina Boulevard. The homeowner, a 36-year-old woman, told authorities it occurred between 8:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Thursday
• Police seized marijuana from an individual on Thursday at South Lee Street near East Monroe Street. The suspect received a citation for simple possession of marijuana.
• Trent Dalton Isaac, 18, was charged with misdemeanor engaging in fighting in public while at Henderson Independent High School, 1215 North Main St.
• Tavaris Rahaan Ferrell, 27, was charged Wednesday with felony possession with the intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a controlled schedule II substance in the 1800 block of Chantilly Lane.
• Naeeman Sadaisha Atkins, 23, was charged Wednesday with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia in the 1000 block of West Horah Street.
• Mikala Noel House-Abraham, 24, was charged Thursday with misdemeanor assault on a government official in the 100 block of East Liberty Street.
• Travis Lee Chambers, 22, was charged Thursday with misdemeanor assault on a female in the 600 block of South Fulton Street and during that time Joy Ann Chambers, 21, was charged with misdemeanor breaking and entering.

• A Mount Ulla resident who lives in the 2400 block of Graham Road reported Wednesday someone replaced the license plate tag on her vehicle with a stolen one.
• A 23-year-old man reported Wednesday someone stole $30 in change from his unlocked vehicle in the 900 block of Shore Acres Road, Salisbury.
• On Wednesday, deputies charged a man with pointing a gun at a 16-year-old. The incident occurred in the 8100 block of Freeze Road near Misty Lane in Kannapolis.
• Kristi Erin Russell, 16, was charged with using drug paraphernalia. She was arrested Wednesday while in the 8100 block of Freeze Road in Kannapolis.
