Three at hotel charged with drug offenses

Salisbury police charged three people with various drug offenses Sunday after they were called to Days Inn motel on Bendix Drive.
Anthony Harding Kincaid, 24, was charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled schedule VI substance; Kayla Elizabeth Smicker, 21, with misdemeanor possession of a controlled schedule IV substance; and Shaina Satterfield Smith, 21, with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
In 2013, Smith was convicted of misdemeanor larceny, possession of or distribution of a meth precursor, maintaining a place for controlled substances, and misdemeanor child abuse. She is currently on probation, according to the N.C. Department of Corrections.

• Someone reported Monday a vandalism occurred at the Hefner VA Medical Center at the corner of 1299 Brenner Ave. and Hedrick Street.
• A woman reported Tuesday a vehicle was stolen from Economy Inn at 322 Bendix Drive.
• A man reported Tuesday items from his home were stolen sometime between 8 a.m. Dec. 1 and midnight March 1.
• Bradshaw Realty reported Tuesday a vandalism at 500 N. Long St., East Spencer.
• A woman reported Tuesday someone snatched her purse at Walmart, 323 S. Arlington St.
• Someone broke a rear window at a home in the 700 block of Torrence Street sometime between 5 p.m. Monday and 1 p.m. Tuesday.
• S & B Associates reported Tuesday a vandalism at 610 Little St.
• Good Stuff 5 & 10 reported Tuesday someone stole items from the business at 220 S. Main St. sometime between 3:48 p.m. March 10 and 3:48 p.m. March 25.
In Rowan Sheriff’s Office reports:
• A man reported Monday a fraud occurred in the 1800 block of Crescent Road.
• A man reported Monday someone broke into his garage sometime between 6:50 a.m. and 10:30 p.m.
• Teresa A. Williams, 46, was charged Monday with misdemeanor simple assault.
