TROY — A “Nature and History Day at the Lost Town of Lawrenceville,” scheduled for 1-4 p.m. Saturday, has been postponed because of the forecast of rain.
The rescheduled date will be sometime in April or May, according to Crystal Cockman, associate director for the LandTrust for Central North Carolina.

The day, which was supposed to gather at the Uwharrie Trail’s N.C. 24/27 Trailhead, is being planned by the Greater Uwharrie Conservation Partnership and the N.C. Science Festival.
