Blotter: Sheriff’s looking into who stole wooden posts and batteries from Elks Lodge

Someone broke into the Elks Lodge, in the 300 block of Lodge Trail, and took 11 wooden posts and two truck batteries from the facility sometime between April 6 around 6 p.m. and April 9 at 9 a.m. Officials with the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office said workers clearing the yard noticed the items were missing. The items were valued at $400 total.

• A man reported Sunday someone broke into an outbuilding and took items from inside in the 3200 block of River Road, Richfield.
• A man reported a Sunday larceny that occurred in the 2800 block of 7th Street.
• A woman reported a larceny Saturday in the 300 block of East Ridge Road.
• Juan Gomez-Lopes, 16, was charged Saturday with misdemeanor possession of a controlled schedule VI substance at the corner of Enochville Avenue and Strider Circle in Kannapolis.
• Israel Banch, 35, was charged Saturday with felony conspiracy in the 1400 block of North Main Street, China Grove. • Alex Burton Lagler, 21, was charged Saturday with misdemeanor possession of a controlled schedule VI substance in the 100 block of Stratford Road.
• Savannah Rose Belik, 18, was charged Saturday with misdemeanor simple assault in the 100 block of West Liberty Street.
• Tyler Chase Adams, 19, was charged Sunday with misdemeanor possession of a controlled schedule VI substance in the 1900 block of Grubb Ferry Road and Hollywood Drive.
• Ashley Rose Hobson, 31, was charged Sunday with misdemeanor simple assault in the 13800 block of U.S. 52, Gold Hill.
• Allen Dean Davis, 22, was charged Sunday with misdemeanor assault by pointing a gun in the 100 block of North Salisbury Avenue, Granite Quarry.
• Terry Lee Hunt, 42, was charged Sunday with felony larceny in Salisbury.
• Joseph Andrew Phillips, 21, was charged Friday with simple possession of marijuana in the 1400 block of South Jake Alexander Boulevard.
• Ernest Bradley Buchanan, 42, was charged Friday with felony obtaining property by false pretenses and misdemeanor failure to appear/comply in the 100 block of West Liberty Street.
• Frank John Walker, 51, was charged Friday with habitual felon in the 100 block of West Liberty Street.
• Tara Nicole Wilkerson, 35, was charged Friday with misdemeanor resist, obstruct, delay an officer in the 300 block of Timber Creek Lane.
• Charles Alexander Ellis, 64, was charged Friday with felony breaking and entering in the 100 block of Oak Hill Drive, Cleveland.

• Henderson Independent High reported a disturbance Monday in the 1200 block of South Main Street.
• A man reported a fraud that occurred Monday in the 200 block of Admiral Drive.
• A man reported a burglary Monday in the 600 block of West Liberty Street.
• Eric Lamonte Fair, 25, was charged April 4 and served with outstanding warrants for two counts misdemeanor resist, delay obstruct an officer and felony identity theft, two counts felony probation violation and felony assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury in the 1600 block of Standish Street at Zion Hills Apartments.
• Malik Rashaad Jones, 19, was charged April 10 with misdemeanor assault on a female in the 100 block of East Liberty Street.
• Shakira Dorty, 21, was charged April 12 with misdemeanor simple assault in the 800 block of Carpenters Circle.
