Representatives from the Rowan and Cabarrus county sheriff’s offices will be at the Enochville Community Watch meeting Thursday, 7 p.m., at Enochville Fire Department.
The sheriff representatives will discuss the crime and drug activity in the area recently, including the arrest of Brandon Lee Rumple, dubbed the “drug kingpin of Enochville” by a law enforcement officer. He was convicted of drug charges in 2012 in Cabarrus County and was recently charged with failing to appear for other charges in Cabarrus. On April 23, he received additional drug charges.
