Today, the Dollar General Literacy Foundation awarded The Father’s House of Glory Inc. in Salisbury, a literacy grant of $3,000 to support adult, family and summer literacy programs. This local grant award is part of more than $6 million in grants awarded today to approximately 700 schools, nonprofits and organizations across the 40 states the company serves.

The Dollar General Literacy Foundation is proud to support initiatives that help others improve their lives through literacy and education. Since its inception in 1993, the Dollar General Literacy Foundation has awarded more than $92 million in grants to nonprofit organizations, helping more than 5 million individuals take their first steps toward literacy or continued education.
