Spencer aldermen approve $5,000 reward in unsolved 2010 murder of cashier

SPENCER — The Spencer Board of Aldermen has approved a $5,000 reward in connection with the unsolved murder of a 20-year-old cashier who was shot and killed in 2010 just after hitting the panic button during a morning shift at Latin Mix.
During a budget workshop Tuesday, aldermen approved the reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for the Nov. 12, 2010, robbery and homicide of Deyanira Rios De la Cruz.
Bradshaw’s Bail Bonding has offered an additional $500 reward leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator responsible for these crimes, according to Spencer Police Chief Michael James.
