The North Carolina Funeral Directors Association (NCFDA) held their 127th annual convention, May 12 through 14, at the Hilton Riverside Wilmington. During the business meeting, Tom Schneider of Summersett Funeral Home, a District 8 Director, was elected to the NCFDA state board.
The next state meeting will be the NCFDA Educational Conference and Exposition, May 11 through 13, 2015 at the Sheraton Downtown and the Raleigh Convention Center in Raleigh. The association was established in 1887 and currently has more than 500 members.
