Motorcycle riders will ride for the troops in a Kangaroo Express Salute Our Troops “ROO Ride” on Saturday, July 5, starting at the 264 E. Main St. Kangaroo Express store in Rockwell,
North Carolina is a part of the fourth annual “Salute Our Troops” fundraising campaign.
Riders will take a scenic motorcycle ride with multiple stops, including Rockwell AMVETS. The ride will end with a finale party back at the Kangaroo Express store and will include BBQ, hot dogs, raffle drawings, a corn-hole tournament and more.
Donation at time of registration is $20 for riders and $10 for non-riders. The first 50 to register will receive a free ROO Ride biker patch and T-shirt.
The Salute Our Troops fundraising campaign recognizes military heroes across Rockwell — both those who have served in the armed forces and those who have positively impacted the lives of those who serve our country.
Guests can donate at any Kangaroo Express store throughout the Southeast from now through Labor Day, Sept. 2. Funds raised will benefit Fisher House Foundation, Red Cross Service to the Armed Forces, United States Veterans Corps (USVC) and state-based military support organizations, including USO of North Carolina and the Soldiers and Airmen Assistance Fund in North Carolina.
