Darryl Childers graduated May 10, 2014, from Sanford School of Public Policy at Duke University with a Master in Public Policy.
The son of Christopher and Rena´ Childers of Salisbury, Darryl is a 2000 graduate of South Rowan High School and received his bachelor’s degree from Davidson College in 2004.
At Duke, Darryl focused on domestic and international community development, completing consulting projects for organizations like Orange County Board of Education, Triangle Community Foundation and a Salisbury nonprofit, Food for Thought.
Darryl plans to continue his career in community development and will spend the next year living and working in the Dominican Republic with his wife and two sons.
