Shue 60th Anniversary

Colon Douglas Shue and Mary Ranson Shue of Kannapolis are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary today, July 6, 2014, with a family luncheon at Blackwelder Park Baptist Church.
The Shues were married June 26, 1954, at the Grace Baptist Church parsonage in Kannapolis by the Rev. Harold J. Mason. Colon retired from Carolina Memorial Park after 38 years as a sales counselor. Mary retired from Raper’s, where she was a floral designer.
The couple’s children are Terry Douglas Shue (wife Lori), Concord; Susan Shue Seamon (husband Danny), Concord; Timothy Lee Shue (wife Deanna), Kannapolis; and Laurie Shue Bingham (husband Ron), Duluth, Ga. They have 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, with one more on the way.
