SALISBURY — Guess who’s coming to Salisbury? Chick-n-Ale.
The new restaurant has been teasing Salisbury with a sign on the former Uncle Bucks location at 117 E. Innes St. and a Facebook page posing the same question.
Public records show Stan Lineberry of Taylorsville pulled permits at the city’s One Stop Shop for Development for the tavern and restaurant. According to its Facebook page, Chick-n-Ale is scheduled to open in September and will feature craft beers and Southern delectables like warm pecan cobbler topped with vanilla bean ice cream, white cheddar mac and cheese and creamed corn cornbread.
