KANNAPOLIS — A man was shot twice Monday evening, according to the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office.
Scott Matthew Shoaf, 36, was taken to the Novant Health Rowan Medical Center by a friend after being shot around 7:30 p.m. at 3150 Weddington Ave., a report said. The hospital reported the incident to police. Authorities said Shoaf was in serious condition, but that he will survive.
Authorities didn’t provide anymore information about the incident, but said they would give more details once a suspect was identified.
