Kannapolis woman faces crack cocaine charges after search

Salisbury police officers arrested a Kannapolis woman Friday after finding crack cocaine in the car she was in.
Jennifer Marie Torrence, 30, was charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver after.
According to police reports, Torrence was a passenger in a gold SUV in the parking lot of Belk, 1455 Klumac Rd. in Salisbury. The vehicle was reported as suspicious, and the Salisbury Police Department responded with a K-9 unit.
Police found a small bag of crack cocaine on Torrence. More crack cocaine was found under her seat when a K-9 hit on the vehicle.
A total of five rocks, weighing 2.4 grams, were found.
Torrence was issued a $10,000 bond.
