The Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday announced the arrest of 23 people over a two-day period for child support charges as a part of the county’s Child Support Awareness month.
A news release said the sheriff’s department and Kannapolis Police conducted two roundups — Sept. 25 from 4 a.m. until noon and Sept. 26 from 4 a.m. until noon.
During the two-day warrant roundup, 11 addresses were checked and 23 people were charged with various non-support charges, according to the release.
The release says the roundup was specifically conducted in conjunction with a Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners’ declaration that September was Child Support Awareness Month.
“The declaration puts into words the actions of a department working to bring children the funds they are due for basic needs,” the release says.
The individuals arrested during the round-up include:
• James Lee Rodriguez Allen, 34, on charges of non-support of a child
• Joshua Blaine Arguette, 27, on charges of non-support of a child
• Montreall Shakeilo Barber, 23, on charges of civil OFA non-support
• Jaron Montez Boyce, 34, on charges of non-support of a child
• Dale Martin Butler, 52, on charges of non-support of a child
• Arthur Lupita Caldwell, 53, on charges of non-support of a child
• Lloyd Preston Campbell, 41, on charges of non-support of a child
• Steven Matthew Daniels, 27, on charges of non-support of a child
• Deantwoin Lomentez, 38, on charges of non-support of child
• Donald Dean Drake, 52, on charges of non-support of a child
• Nathan Earl Hagar, 35, on charges of non-support of a child
• Jeremy Brian Hurlocker, 33, on charges of non-support of a child
• Mary Machowski Jaskula, 41, on charges of non-support of a child
• Jeffrey Raymond Knight, 44, on charges of non-support of a child
• Marcie Raquel Little, 45, on charges of non-support of a child
• Jonathan Eugene Mauldin, 34, on charges of non IV-D non-support of a spouse
• Cameron Todd McCrae, 25, on charges of civil OFA Non-support
• Travis Eugene Rogers, 44, on charges of civil OFA non-support
• David Brown Scercy, 34, on charges of non-support of a child
• Ronnie Lee Simmons, 40, on charges of non-support of a child
• Arvin Junior Stevenson, 36, on charges of non-support of a child
• Shanekia Roshanna Watson, 32, on charges of non-support of a child
• Michael Angelo White, on charges of non-support of a child.
