Rowan weather: Enjoy the warmth while you can

It’s going to be another one of those days that starts out icy and ends nicely.
Windshields needed scraping this morning, and the 7:30 a.m. temperature was 31 degrees, but the sun is shining and it should warm up to 66. Tonight will not be as cold, with a low of 41.
Veterans Day will be sunny and near 71, with a low around 42.
Wednesday will be nice, too, sunny and near 70. There’s a slight, 20 percent, chance of showers Wednesday night, with a low of 42.
But brace yourself for Thursday, the low of 42 will rise to a high of only 48, and we’re back below freezing Thursday night, with a low of 31.
Friday will be sunny but even cooler, with a high of only 45 and a low around 28.
Saturday, we have more sun, and more chill, with a high near 48 and a low around 31.
Sunday brings a 40 percent chance of rain and … snow showers … believe it or not, but don’t count on it. The high will be near 48 degrees.
