A Salisbury man was arrested Thursday on multiple charges of trafficking heroin.
Wilbert Pete Horton Jr., 60, was arrested at his home on the 100 block of Chestnut St, according to an arrest report. Police had six warrants for Horton’s arrest, including four for trafficking heroin. The other two warrants were for keeping drugs in his home.
Horton was taken to the Rowan County Detention Center and given a $5,000 bond.

James Nathaniel Taylor, 49, was charged with resist/delay/obstruct a policer officer Thursday on the 300 block of S. Arlington St.
Charles Phillip Clodfelter, 34, was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell Thursday on the 700 block of W. Monroe St.
In Sheriff’s reports:
A woman reported a simple assault occurred Nov. 7 on the 1500 block of Peeler Road in Salisbury.
A woman reported a larceny occurred between Monday and Wednesday on the 5700 block of S. Main St. in Salisbury.
Aziz Alim Al Amin, 56, was charged Wednesday with felony habitual breaking and entering.
Vickie Marie Couch, 53, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia on the 3400 block of Old Mocksville Road Wednesday.
Devon Vastine Craddock, 17, was charged with simple assault Wednesday.
Ronnie Alan Wright, 41, was charged with simple assault Wednesday.
Aaron Lee Brown, 25, was charged with resist/delay/obstruct/ a policer officer on the 100 block of Akron Av. in Kannapolis Wednesday.
