Police looking into a Friday night shooting near BP gas station

Salisbury Police say a 27-year-old man was shot multiple times Friday near the BP convenience store located at 1901 W. Innes St. around 10:30 p.m. But they say he refused to cooperate.
Police responded to the incident after calls about shots being fired in the area not far from Lily Avenue. While police were at the scene they received another call about a gunshot victim had arrived at the hospital. The incident happened in the parking lot of the convenience store.
Authorities said a right front passenger in a dark Chevrolet Suburban shot at the victim. The SUV then left heading toward Statesville Boulevard.
The victim was shot in the upper right leg.
