The Salisbury VA Medical Center is in the process of installing a new telephone system and during the crossover, callers may experience problems connecting to the medical center. This will only affect the main Salisbury VAMC campus.

The work on the phone system is scheduled to take place today, beginning at 6 p.m. Telephone downtime may run from 6 to 10 p.m., but every effort will be made to restore service by 6:30 p.m. In the event of an emergency, patients should always dial 911.

Once the upgraded telephone system is in place, it will allow additional caller capacity to the medical center, as well as a new voicemail system.

The staff of the Salisbury VAMC would like to thank you for your patience while we work to improve our services for our nation’s Veterans.
