Raleigh—N.C. Department of Transportation contractors will be performing nightly roadwork in Rowan County later this month. Crews will be doing heat straightening work on steel girders.

The work will require the closure of the three right-hand lanes on I-85 South at mile marker 68 near China Grove. Traffic will get by on the single left-hand lane.

The closure will take place each night between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. between Saturday, Jan. 24 and Saturday, Jan. 31.
