In sheriff’s reports:

• Cloninger Ford Toyota reported on Tuesday someone broke into the business and stole new tires at 511 S. Jake Alexander Blvd.

• A man reported on Tuesday someone took several checks and used them between Jan. 2 and Jan. 5 in the 10800 block of U.S. 52, Rockwell.

• Rowan deputies responded Tuesday to a marijuana possession incident in the 200 block of Kimball Street, Kannapolis.

• A man reported on Tuesday he received a counterfeit bill in the 2700 block of West C Street, Kannapolis.

•  A woman reported on Tuesday a larceny occurred in the 800 block of Old Linn Road, China Grove.

• A man reported on Tuesday someone took items from his backyard in the 1000 block of Ebenezer Road, Kannapolis.

• Alexander Luke McGuffey, 25, was charged on Tuesday with misdemeanor assault of a child, while at the Rowan County Magistrate’s Office.

• Michael Gage Williams, 19, was charged on Tuesday with misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor in the 100 block of Rankin Road, Kannapolis.

• Desean Germain Jones, 42, was charged on Tuesday with misdemeanor assault on a female while at the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office.

• Brandon Michael Lemmon, 18, was charged on Tuesday with simple assault while at the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office.

• Laura Mills Daniels, 39, was charged on Tuesday with misdemeanor false report to police radio broadcasting station while at the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office.

• Cassie Nicole Walton, 27, was charged on Tuesday with felony larceny by employee in the 400 block of Morlan Park Road.

• A woman reported on Wednesday someone took items from her vehicle in the 1300 block of Arden Drive.

• A woman reported on Wednesday she was the victim of a larceny while on the streets of Salisbury.

• A man reported on Wednesday he was the victim of a burglary in the 200 block of West 11th Street.

• Police responded on Wednesday to a driving while impaired incident in  the 500 block of Airport Road.

• John Robert Chambers, 53, was charged on Tuesday with misdemeanor larceny while at Walmart.
