Police investigating Friday night shooting

Police are searching for information after a man who was shot late Friday.
According to police, David Clayton Moore, 32, was shot in the back after he stopped his car in the driveway of a home on the 700 block of Park Avenue.
Police received a call around 11:45 p.m. about a man being shot. When they arrived, they found Moore lying on the sidewalk.
A witness told police there was a passenger in the car with Moore, and that Moore got out of the car, staggered and fell. A neighbor reported hearing a gunshot.
Moore was taken to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and underwent surgery. Police have not yet spoken to him about the incident.
