Blotter: East Spencer man faces felony cocaine possession after undercover operation

An East Spencer man faces felony cocaine possession charges following an undercover operation that occurred in January.
The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office charged Rodney Allen Shannon, 35, of the 400 block of Spruce Street, with conspire to sell and deliver cocaine, sell and deliver controlled substance schedule II and possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver a controlled substance schedule II, all of which are felonies.
Authorities charged Shannon on Thursday and he remains in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $4,000 secured bond.
Shannon was convicted of a number of driving while impaired offenses, possession of drug paraphernalia, communicating threats, possession of firearm by felon, cocaine possession, carrying a concealed weapon, resisting arrest, hit and run, and a number of driving while license revoked offenses.

• Jenny Lynn Shore, 59, was charged on Thursday with misdemeanor cyberstalking in the 300 block of Phillips Avenue, Landis.

• A man reported on Friday some stole property in the 1000 block of Freeland Drive.
• A man reported on Saturday a larceny occurred in the 500 block of West Horah Street.
• A woman reported on Saturday she was the victim of simple assault in the 200 block of Claymont Drive.
• A man reported Sunday someone vandalized her property in the 400 block South Long Street.
• A woman reported on Sunday someone broke into her vehicle in the 200 block of Kingsbridge Road.
• A man reported on Sunday someone broke into a vehicle in the 100 block of Waverly Circle.
• A woman reported on Sunday she was the victim of a larceny in the 100 block of Elyse Avenue.
