Walter Darrell Elium Sr. and Olivia Jean Shive Elium of Salisbury celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Feb. 14, 2015. They were married Feb. 14, 1965, at Organ Lutheran Church in Salisbury. Darrell is the owner of Select Customer Insurance Agency which he opened after retiring from The Hartford with 30 years of Service. The couple have two children, Bonita Lovette (Donnie) of Leland and D.J. Elium (Tonya) of Jesup, Ga. They also have eight grandchildren.
