Rowan weather: From 80 to a low of 34; gotta love spring

With sunny skies and a high near 69, today should be lovely. Winds will blow from the south at 6-10 mph.

But we can’t avoid the 30 percent chance of showers tonight, with a warm low of 57.

The chance of rain for Friday is only 20 percent. We’ll start off cloudy and clear and reach a very warm high of 80. South southwest winds will blow 9-16 mph, with gusts up to 25 mph. But it’s a 50 percent chance of showers overnight Friday, with more wind, gusting up to 20 mph.

You’ll notice the big change for Saturday, with mostly sunny skies and a high of just 62 degrees. Winds will shift to the north northwest at 14-16 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. The low will be a cold 34 degrees.

There is a possibility of frost in some areas overnight.

Easter Sunday will be sunny with a high of 64 and a low of 44.

Monday will be partly sunny and slightly warmer, with a high near 69. Then we’re back with a 30 percent of showers Monday night and a low of 54.

Tuesday has a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a high near 74 under cloudy skies. The 30 percent chance of showers continues Tuesday night, with a low of 59.

And Wednesday, look for a third round of a 30 percent chance of showers and storms and a high of 77.
