Mrs. Evelyn S. Clayborn celebrated her 90th birthday March 28, 2015, at Ryans with family, friends and church members. Family members were in attendance from Charlotte, Winston-Salem and Greensboro.
The celebration was given by her children, Paulette C. Wells, Blanche C. Ford and Walter D. Clayborn; and her five grandchildren.
Special tributes were given by Iller Davis, Ida Finger, Fannie Butler, Dee Dee Wright, Rev. John Leazer, Rev. Clayton Ruggs, Mrs. Sarah Stowe and her pastor, Dr. Clary Phelps.
