Rowan weather: Sun!

Have you seen that thing up in the sky? Do you remember what it’s like to see sun and blue sky?
It’s a chilly 45 degrees, but we should have sunny skies all day and a high near 68, with light winds. Tonight will be clear and cold, with a low of 42.
But the chance of rain is never far away, so we’ll see a 20 percent chance of showers Wednesday afternoon. It will be mostly sunny and warm, with a high of 73. Winds will pick up from the west southwest, starting at 5-10 mph, then increasing to 11-16 mph later in the day, with gusts up to 29 mph. Wednesday night, too, has a 20 percent chance of showers and a low of 50.
We’re back to partly sunny for Thursday, with a high near 65 and breezes from the north and west. Thursday night’s low will be back down to 42.
Friday should be gorgeous — mostly sunny and 68. But back sneaks the rain, with a 30 percent chance Friday night and a low around 49.
Saturday, the first day of the Salisbury Rowan Farmers Market, still has a 50 percent chance of showers, but you might be able to dodge them long enough to check out the bounty of fresh vegetables, baked goods and more. The high will be around 63. The chance of showers Saturday night will be 40 percent, with a low around 47.
Sunday, too, has a 30 percent chance of showers, but it will be mostly sunny, with a high near 67. Sunday night should be clear, with a low of 46.
Monday looks mostly sunny, with a high near 68.
