After canceling a meeting earlier this month, the Salisbury Planning Board will hear a request Tuesday to rezone a piece of property to allow for a beauty salon in a residential neighborhood.
The property is located at 230 Ann Street at the corner of Ann Street and Faith Road. It is currently zoned urban residential. The petitioners, Crystal Vanhoy and Tasha Hall, are requesting the half-acre lot be rezoned to residential mixed use so the house on the lot can be used as a beauty salon.
A public hearing on the request will be held Tuesday. The Planning Board meets at 4 p.m. at City Hall.
In other business Tuesday, the board will:
• Hold a public hearing regarding revisions to the phase two plans for the Civic Park Apartments redevelopment.
• Discuss a change to the city’s ordinance regarding daycare facilities to better conform with state statutes.
