Bill Schoonmaker and Karen Misenheimer announce the engagement of their daughter, Kaylee Elizabeth Schoonmaker, to Adam Tyler Shue, both of Monroe.
Kaylee is the granddaughter of William and Kathy Schoonmaker and Helen and the late Clayton Rhyne. A 2008 graduate of East Rowan High School, she graduated from the Dental Assisting Program at RCCC in 2011. She is a Dental Assistant II in Charlotte.
Adam is the son of Dana and Penny Shue of Faith and the grandson of the late Arthur and Ollie Shue and the late J.C. and Bea Earnhardt. A 2003 graduate of East Rowan High School, he is employed by Mecklenburg County.
The wedding is Sept. 12 at The Morehead Inn in Charlotte.
