David Dorsett won a new Nissan on Saturday during the annual Salisbury Lions Club Golf Tournament at Corbin Hills.
Dorsett used a 4-iron to ace the 181-yard No. 16 hole. Ben Mynatt Nissan was sponsoring a hole-in-one package for the event.
Witnessing the prize-winning shot were Randy Bingham, Garrett Gardner, Stan Honeycutt and spotter Don Connors.

Intimidators
The Delmarva Shorebirds used six different innings to score seven runs and beat the Intimidators, 7-2, on Saturday night in front of 4,126 fans.
Yency Almonte (4-3) was charged with loss.
The Intimidators and Shorebirds wrap up their four-game series Sunday, starting at 5:05 p.m.
Junior Legion
Carson (6-3) won 10-9 against Rowan County in nine innings on Saturday.
Rowan had 17 hits, while Carson had 10 hits.
Zack Lee, Luke Barringer, Brycen Holshouser and winner Chase Earnhardt pitched for Carson.
Earnhardt drove in the winning run.
Cameron Prugh, Pearce Wilhelm and Earnhardt had two hits each. Earnhardt and Daniel Leonard had two RBIs each.
Chandler Lippard had four hits for Rowan County. Will Brown, Trevor Scruggs, Chandler Antosek, Bryson Wagner and John Yang had two hits each.
• Carson swept Mooresville on Friday.
Carson won the opener 6-2.
Prugh was the winning pitcher.
Ben Shoaf had three hits (two doubles) and two RBIs. Brycen Holshouser and Wilhelm had two hits each.
Carson rallied from an 8-0 deficit to win 9-8.
Zack Holshouser had three hits, while Logan Ridenhour had two. Sollie Holshouser was the winning pitcher.
Carson plays at West Rowan on Sunday at 4 p.m.
Triathlon
Dr. Delaine Fowler of Salisbury won the women’s division of the Badin Triathlon on Saturday.
She was also fourth overall with personal bests in the 750 yard swimming and 3.1 mile run times.
Her overall time was 1 hour, 17 minutes and 50 seconds on the route that also included 13.5 cycling miles.
Fowler won two trophies, two nights at the Badin Inn, local honey, and a bottle of Uwharrie wine.
“It was a great course with wonderful support,” Fowler said.
Fowler is a past winner of the Buck Hurley Triathlon in Salisbury and a two-time Ironman Triathlete.
Baseball camps
South Rowan baseball camp will be held on June 22-25 from 9-1 daily.
The cost is $80.

LPGA
MANULIFE LPGA CL CAMBRIDGE, Ontario — Suzann Pettersen took a one-stroke lead in the Manulife LPGA Classic, making an eagle and four birdies on the first 11 holes and closing with seven pars for a 6-under 66.
Pettersen had a 19-under 197 total at Whistle Bear Golf Club. Bothered by a shoulder injury this season, the 34-year-old Norwegian player won the last of her 14 LPGA Tour titles in 2013.
Colombia’s Mariajo Uribe was second after a 67. Cristie Kerr was third at 17 under, also after a 67. She won the Kia Classic in California in March for her 17th LPGA Tour title.
Inbee Park had a 70 to reach 9 under.
