The Concord Police Department is asking for help as it investigates a Saturday murder that left one person dead.

Loney Felder III, of 1069 Meadowbrook Lane in Concord, died Saturday after being shot multiple times.

A news release said police responded at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday to a report of gunfire near Meadowbrook and Cedarbrook Lane, in the Meadowbrook Subdivision. Upon arrival, police found Felder lying in the roadway with multiple gunshot wounds.

Felder was taken to CMC—Northeast and was pronounced dead at 4:30 a.m. as a result of his injuries.

The Concord Police Department asks that anyone with information that may lead to finding the person or persons responsible for Felder’s death call 704-920-5000 or Cabarrus County Crime Stoppers at 704-93-Crime.

The Concord Police Department had not made any arrests in the case as of Sunday afternoon.
