The work is part of the extended warranty covered by the Blythe Construction as part of the Interstate 85 project that was completed in 2008. The work is slated to take about a month. The work will begin at 8 a.m. and is expected to be completed by 6 a.m. on Monday, July 20.

The detour is as follows: from Andrews Street, motorists will use Mill Run Road, East Jefferson Street, Long Ferry Road, North Salisbury Avenue and I-85 S/U.S. 52. Motorists are cautioned to watch signs for construction information and obey the posted speed limit.
