James L. (Jim) and Janice Ruff Brady recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at the Stag & Doe in China Grove with family and friends. They were married June 18, 1965, by the Rev. Edward Sides in Kannapolis.
Jim is the son of the late Robert L. Brady and Pauline G. Brady of Salisbury. Janice is the daughter of the late James R. and Glenna W. Ruff.
They have two children, Scott Brady (Belinda) from China Grove and Lynn Sellers (Craig) from Rockwell.
They also have four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Jim retired from Allstate Insurance as a Claim Manager after 43 years. Janice was last employed by the Salisbury-Rowan School System as a Teacher’s Aide.
The Bradys continued their anniversary celebration at their second home in the Cherry Grove section of North Myrtle Beach, S.C., with retired friends from Allstate and neighbors.
