Rowan weather: Hot, 40% chance of rain

It’s going to be another hot and humid day, but this afternoon, we have a chance of showers and thunderstorms.
Some of the storms this evening could bring high winds and frequent cloud to ground lightning. A few storms could become severe.
We have a 40 percent chance of rain, mainly after 2 p.m. It will be partly sunny and hot, with a high of 95. Tonight, we continue to have a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a low around 70.
Wednesday will be mostly sunny and a little less hot, with a high of 90. A 20 percent chance of rain comes in Wednesday night, with a low around 69.
Thursday, too, has a 20 percent chance of thunderstorms or showers in the afternoon, and the high will drop to 88 degrees. Same chance of rain Thursday night, with a low of 69.
Friday will be mostly sunny and 88 again, with a low of 68.
Saturday will be slightly warmer, with a high of 89 and a low of 70.
Look for mostly sunny skies Sunday, with a high of 90. A 30 percent chance of rain moves in Sunday night, with a low of 70.
It’s back into the 90s for Monday, with a high of 91 under mostly sunny skies.
